The Port Lincoln Soccer Association is hoping to capitalise on the increasing number of players its experienced in recent years.
The association will be holding its annual sign-up event on April 7, from 10am to 1pm at the Kirton Point Oval, to attract new players to the sport.
The day will include scratch matches, shooting drills and there will also be the opportunity for parents or players to ask any questions they may have.
Soccer association vice-president Ryan Black said he wanted anyone interested in the game to come and say hello.
Black said it would be the perfect time to pop in to ask questions.
He said the association was hoping to continue the trend of growing numbers in the 2019 season.
"It's a welcoming environment for all skill levels, whether you're a newcomer or picking up the game again," Black said.
"We want to build our numbers in general but we have a high focus on the junior side of things as we want to send both girls and boys teams to Country Championships."
