A prescribed burn is planned at the entrance to Lincoln National Park today, April 16, weather conditions permitting.
The prescribed burn will start at 10am and should be complete by 7pm.
It will affect about 300 hectares at the entrance to Lincoln National Park, two kilometres south of Tulka and 12km south of Port Lincoln.
A significant amount of smoke may be produced during this burn which is normal for burns of this size and may be visible for a few days following completion.
The park entrance road will remain open and traffic restrictions will be in place.
