A man has lost his licence for six months after being caught drink driving on April 19.

At about 8.45pm last Friday, police stopped a vehicle on Wingard Terrace for a mobile driver test.

The 24 year old Port Lincoln man gave a blood alcohol reading of 0.145 and was issued an immediate loss of licence.

His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

CAR STOLEN AFTER BREAK-IN

Police are investigating a break-in on Oxford Terrace where a car was stolen.

Just after midnight on Sunday April 21, a house was broken into while the occupants were asleep, and a white 2009 VE Holden Commodore was stolen.

The car has South Australian registration number S104AUG.
