The foundation established the Education Fund in 2016, and has received applications from all areas of the Eyre Peninsula.

"We would like to thank all that took the time to forward an application," foundation chairperson Majella Mrdjen said.

The purpose of the tertiary scholarships is to provide funding for Eyre Peninsula educated students who wish to, or are studying at a university in South Australia after completion of year 12.

Lily Matena attended Port Lincoln High School and is now studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) at Flinders University.

Olivia Murray attended St Joseph's School and is now studying a Bachelor of Nursing at University of Adelaide.

Olivia Dunn, who attended Cleve Area School, is now studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) Business (Finance) at University of South Australia.

The foundation's board congratulated the recipients and wished them well with their studies.
