Probus takes gastronomic tour

On March 1 Mike Munro and Colin West from the Port Lincoln Rotary Club conducted the election of new officers for the Port Lincoln Combined Probus Club.

Fred Gerswich was elected 2019 president from past president Vicki Wilkins and John Duncan is the new treasurer.

The outing in March was a visit to Winters Hill fire lookout.

Probus members then visited the Swan Sanctuary Cafe for lunch and had a great display of mouth-watering chocolates made by Carmine Piantedosi.

Following lunch the group drove up the hill to Peter and Barbie Clutterbuck's Coomunga winery.

There members were entertained with the rituals of wine growing and making as well as tastings of the finished product.
