Good patience from Blues' Dunn and Carr down the attacking end was valuable for the Blues.

Tumby's Desi Franks fired four goals in a row to help Tumby close the gap.

Stacey Curtis was providing brilliant viewing for all spectators coming into half time cougars leading 24-17.

BJ Moroney came on for Cougars moving Watson into WD, Tumby remaining the same.

Sharp shooting from Lisa Smith and Wedd looked to blow the score line out but Tumby managed to hold on and get within five goals.

Watson on the wing was getting her hands to lots which the Cougars defence watched with delight.

At the end of the third Cougars were leading 38-30.

Curtis started the forth working like an absolute Trojan but BJ Moroney's reach was too good for the Tumby goalies.

Cougars forward line picked it up a notch, starting to stretch their lead out but Somma Cave was making her presence felt in GK.

Tumby's Southern and Dunn proved that height does not matter if you work hard.

Tumby were not making good use of their turnovers let Cougars run away with the win 54-38.

Cougars and Tumby Bay provided fabulous viewing.

Lock 42 def by Eyre United 49

This was a great spectators game as both teams played good, consistent netball.

Eyre United started well while Lock warmed up half way through the first quarter.

Eyre United GS Hayley Masson and GA Georgina Stratford combined well with nice passing by WA Nicole Doley and C Joyce Ashwin.

Lock defenders Liberty Tuohy and Hannah Zerk took some great intercepts.

Eyre United WA Sofia Modra and Lock WD Ash Dyer kept play tight through the centre court, Dyer taking great intercepts.

Masson continued to shoot well with Lock's Zerk and Tuohy stepping up their work rate in the goal third and circle.

At half time Lock were down 19 to Eyre United's 26.

Eyre United made changes to their line up while Lock remained the same.

Lock goalies Belinda Heath and Kelsey Hurrell worked the circle well making Eyre United defenders Brittany Carmody and Olivia Turner fight for every ball.

Lock outscored Eyre United by five goals at the end of the third quarter.

Lock WA Haylee Pearce and Eyre United WD Taylah Filsell fought hard for every ball.

Saints' goalies continued to work fast around the goal circle with Masson leading out for most passes in the goal third opening up the circle for Stratford.

As the pressure continued both centres Kraehe and Franklin made themselves available for every ball.

Lock goalies started to miss because of Eyre United's pressure in the ring.

Eyre United ended up taking the points.

Tumby Bay 30 def by Cougars 47

Both teams started strong, with a fast pace through the centre from both Tumby's Montana Watson and Cougars' Ashley Harbottle.

With Emily Miller shooting well Cougars took the lead at the first quarter break 14-8.

Ari Schlink from Tumby matched up well against Cougars' Miller and started to pick off loose balls.

Emily Lawrie up from Tumby's D grade was playing well in goals with Lauren Carr pegging back the gap.

At half time Cougars were still in the lead 23-18.

Cougars made some changes for the third quarter, Miller went into WA, Lisa Rodgers into GA and Hana Green to GS.

BJ Moroney and Cherie Bascomb worked well together in defence to pick off intercepts. Mel Fiacchi was driving the ball out well at WD for Tumby.

With minutes to go Bascomb took a beautiful intercept and threw a long bomb into GS resulting in a well earned goal.

At three quarter time Cougars led 32 to 25.

Tumby brought Blaise Baldissera into WA for the last quarter.

Bascomb was still reading the ball well, picking up plenty for her team and sending it down to her goalies.

Accurate shooting by Cougars goalies in the last quarter resulted in a win for them.
