Panthers 13 (47) def Gladiators 8 (36)

In round two Panthers recorded a solid win over Gladiators to take them to top of the table.

Gavin Proude replaced Daniel Challinger for Panthers and played impressively to defeat Shane Stockham in a tiebreaker fifth set to set up the night for Panthers.

Ben Southamhad a good night winning three singles while for Gladiators Russell Fordham and Jesse Marcal won two singles each.

But the night belonged to Panthers as they finished strongly claiming all the doubles.

Tigers 13 (47) def Lions 8 (37)

Tigers moved to fourth on the table defeating top placed Lions.

The opening round came out even as Tigers' Joseph Harris defeated Kody Rosalia and Peter Lee came from behind to win against Fiona Rosalia.

Nathan Fong, Sally Kunze and Brenton Stagg made a good start for Lions.

Tigers got in front in the second round with a win from Geoff Nottle who defeated Nathan Fong in five sets.

With three doubles on the line, Tigers managed to win two to increase their advantage.

Tigers kept the pressure on in final round with Slavco Kolega winning a five set thriller over Sally Kunze and Joseph Harris taking a five setter from Nathan Fong to seal victory.

Dodgers 12 (43) def Croppos 9 (38)

After their disappointing loss last week, Dodgers bounced back fielding a full team in the process.

Games came out even in the opening round with the standout match going to Dodgers' Marc Haning winning a five set thriller over Adam Butterworth.

Dodgers lifted in the second round as John Folkman won over Martin Sheridan and Max Williams came from behind to defeat Ralph Sandford in five sets.

Dodgers combined well in the doubles to win two and take a three rubber lead into the final round.

Sandford hit back for Croppos defeating Connor Harrison, Sheridan collected a five set thriller over Marc Haning and Huey Rosalia was consistent as ever but Croppos fell short at the final hurdle as John Folkman finished well for Dodgers.

Gladiators 9 (26) def Panthers 3 (16)

Gladiators took leap forward to second place with their win over Panthers.

The Barnetts, Lance, Clarissa and Jack led the way for Gladiators while for Panthers Jayden Townsend defeated Callum Guidera in four sets.

Gladiators combined to win three out of four doubles to take a strong lead but Panthers could only add one more win through Ernie Bauer and it was game over.

Best: Gladiators: Jack Barnett, Clarissa Barnett; Panthers: Ernie Bauer.

Tigers 8 (27) def Lions 4 (16)

Tigers moved to third after their win over the Lions.

Scores were level after the first round with Matt Beckmann and Jamie Crawford (Lions) defeating Gary Weetra and Rob Simon respectively.

Tigers combined stronger in the doubles for a handy lead.

The third round came out even as Cath Trowse and Julieanne Simon played well for Tigers and Beckmann and Crawford won tight matches for Lions.

The last two sets of doubles went Tigers way for victory.

Dodgers 7 (22) def Croppos 5 (19)

In the closest contest of the night, Dodgers held onto their top spot on the ladder while Croppos are fourth.

The night began evenly as Dodgers Bev Atkins defeated Lyle McAvaney and Luke DeIesio won over Linnea Mead both in four sets while for Croppos Dave Sherry and Wayde Heidenreich put scores on the board.

In the doubles it came out at one apiece, keeping the scores locked together.

Matches tightened up in the third round as Marene Greyvenstein and Ethan Richardson won important singles for Dodgers while Dave Sherry had to fight hard to scrape home his win over Bev Atkins in five sets as did Wayde Heidenreich over Luke DeIesio to keep the scores at five all.

It came down to the last two doubles but Dodgers managed to win both clinching the win.
