ENTRIES are now open for the 2020 Tunarama Ambassador Quest with three early entrants already confirmed.
Port Lincoln Tunarama is calling for entries for the 2020 quest, with entries open until the end of June.
Three local women have already entered into the upcoming quest, Miss Port Lincoln Mitre 10 Belinda Currie, Miss Finesse Finance Lauren Hazell and Miss Kallinyalla Garden Centre Chloe Dreckow.
Miss Currie was the first to sign up and said she was enjoying it so far.
Entrants are required to fundraise for a chosen charity, and Miss Currie has chosen the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
"I've chosen the Royal Flying Doctor Service because they've saved my life and my whole family's used them," she said.
Miss Dreckow is raising money for the Red Cross as she volunteers her time with the organisation.
She said she had already started fundraising with support from the Red Cross, including from community development officer Leonie Ebert.
"After entering I thought about it more and thought it would be a great experience," she said.
Miss Hazell said she was encouraged to sign up by her cousin, Angela Hersey.
"I thought she was joking to start with but I've lived around the Eyre Peninsula for about 28 years...why not represent Port Lincoln for a change?" she said.
Miss Hazell said she was raising money for Variety SA - The Children's Charity as she had friends who were part of the Runaway Brides Variety Bash team and had followed what they and the organisation had done to give back to children in need.
Tunarama Ambassador Quest coordinator Tamara Humenick said Tunarama was happy to see at least three signed up already but was open for more to join, as long a they were committed to the quest and ambassador duties.
Anyone interested can collect an information pack from the Tunarama office on King Street or contact Miss Humenick at email@example.com.
