New arts projects covering the length and breadth of South Australia will be sharing in almost $160,000 in grants from the federal Regional Arts Fund.
Country Arts SA chief executive Steve Saffell said the 13 new projects represented a diversity of talent from across the state.
"It was impressive to see the high quality of applications received from across the state including significant projects in the Eyre Peninsula, APY Lands, and in Bordertown, Murray Bridge, Whyalla and Ceduna," he said.
"The Regional Arts Fund will support the production of new work, continue to build on the success of previous initiatives and develop skills for artists and communities in regional and remote South Australia.
"Most pleasing, the projects funded this round embrace our young people and their environmental concerns, and celebrate the community's art and heritage, showcasing and promoting pride in regional art and culture."
