An unstoppable Jarden Stoetzer led Western United to a Far West football A grade victory against Thevenard by 109 points on Saturday.

Tom Woods chipped in with four goals and Locky Brown converted the other two, while Ty Mullan and Matthew Degner kicked Thevy's goals.

Stoetzer showed from the opening siren that he was in a goalkicking mood as he booted the Tigers' opening four goals, which saw them take a 19-point lead at quarter-time.

Westies increased the margin to 47 points by half-time as Stoetzer added another three majors in the second term.

Thevenard kicked two goals to the main break and would not add another for the match, as Western United kicked three third-quarter goals to push the lead out to 70.

Koonibba remains four points adrift of the league leaders after securing a 38-point success against the Blues.

The Roosters were in control from the outset to come away with the 13-12 (90) to 7-10 (52) victory.

That dominance showed in the first quarter as the Roosters led by three goals at the siren, kicking four goals to one.

The windy conditions meant goals were hard to come by in the second term yet Koonibba still increased the gap to 29 points by the main break.

The Blues were not helped by inaccurate kicking and by three-quarter time had put only three of 12 scoring shots through the middle.

Koonibba added four goals for the term to go clear by 48 points.

Although the Blues managed to reduce the deficit with four goals to two in the final quarter it was too late to threaten the scoreboard.

Koonibba shared the goals around, led by three from Winston Ginger and two each for Bobby Warren, Gavin Buckskin and Vaughan Day.

Dylan Cook kicked four goals for the Blues.

Western United finished well to win the B grade match against Thevenard by 25 points.
