Port Lincoln Hockey Association will welcome former Kookaburra and Olympic medallist Kieran Govers this weekend, who will pass on skills and knowledge to local players and coaches.
Govers, a bronze medallist with Australia's hockey team at the 2012 Olympics will lead two sessions at the Ravendale Sporting Complex on Saturday for players at 8.30am and 3pm as well as a session on Sunday at 9am.
However he will also be involved in a session for coaches at 6.30pm.
Clinic organiser Anne-Marie Hammond said Govers visited a couple of years ago and wanted to return to help the local coaches.
She said Govers would provide information including up to date drills coaches could use with their teams.
"We're so grateful that somebody wants to come all this way to help our coaches," she said.
Mrs Hammond said Govers would be assisted by local coaches in the sessions with players.
