Teens arrested for car break-ins

Three teenage boys have been arrested for breaking into a number of cars in Port Lincoln this morning.

At 3am this morning, Port Lincoln police located three boys on Blacker Court.

They were carrying gloves and torches and police will allege they were in possession of stolen items from cars in the area.

While three cars are found to have been broken into, further reports have been received by police and investigation is underway to ascertain if they are linked.

The three boys were arrested and charged with going equipped, theft from a motor vehicle and unlawful possession.

The boys from Port Lincoln, one aged 14 and two aged 16, were refused bail to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court later today.
