SMILE FOR DANIELLE: A fundraiser for Danielle Richardson will be held at Line and Label on September 29.

A FUNDRAISER at The Line and Label next month will help raise money for Danielle Richardson who was diagnosed with a glioblastoma tumour, an aggressive brain tumour, earlier this year.

Friends of Mrs Richardson and her family, Bronwyn Warland, Shelly Harvey and Donna Bergineti started a Go Fund Me page about three months ago to raise $60,000 to help with treatment and living costs.

Funds have almost reached $23,000 and in an effort to keep the money ticking over, Mrs Richardson's friends have organised an event for September 29.

"Recently Danielle has underwent major surgery in Sydney to prolong her life; the surgery will only buy Danielle more time as there is no cure," Ms Bergineti said

"All funds raised from the auction and $10 from every ticket sold will go towards ongoing medical and travel expenses."

Diana Mislov and Ethnic Cowboys have donated their time to MC and provide the entertainment, Line and Label have donated the venue and staff and many local businesses and volunteers have donated vouchers and goods for live and silent auctions.

"Community support so far has been nothing short of amazing," Ms Bergineti said.

"If you can support this family, please join us - the ongoing expenses they face are huge and they need our help."
