There is so much going on around South Australia - and each week we will bring you an array of news, faces and features which will highlight some of the most interesting characters and events we have in our communities.
This week it seems our youth have hit the spotlight in many ways. The Barossa is jumping for joy as Tanunda local George Alice celebrates after taking out the title of Triple J Unearthed High for 2019. To read about her achievement and hear the winning song check out the story below. As we get excited about the country show season there are some kids, such as those from Cleve, who have been working hard and preparing for the Royal Adelaide Show for almost 12 months. And, if your children want to go to the best regional school in Australia, then prepare to make the move 'overseas' to Kangaroo Island. For the second consecutive year the Kangaroo Island Community Education has been named the country's best regional school.
In our final story for the week find out why Port Lincoln nurse Amanda Treagus has decided to speak about the terror she felt after she sustained serious injuries when a patient turned on her. And don't forget to find out what's happening around South Australia over the next couple of weeks.
Enjoy the read.
