Drive to arrive at One Night Stand

If you are heading to Triple j's One Night Stand this weekend, police are asking drivers to be careful on the roads as they head to Lucindale, in the State's South East.

It is expected around 20,000 people from around South Australia, as well as interstate, will attend the one-day festival this Saturday, September 14.

SA Police's Limestone Coast Local Service Area Inspector Campbell Hill is asking festival goers to be patient and take care on the roads to and from Lucindale.

"We are asking those driving to the region to exercise courtesy and patience, given higher than usual number of vehicles expected in the area," he said.

We want everyone to have a good time, which means taking care, allowing a little extra time to get to your destination and taking regular driving breaks to check out the scenery along the way!"

Police will also have drug detection dogs, foot and bicycle patrols and mounted operations officers at the event, which is a free all-ages concert that is alcohol and drug free.
