The Port Lincoln Combined Probus Club celebrated its 10th birthday at Wangary Community and Sports Centre on Friday, August 2.
The club's foundation meeting was held on July 6, 2009, attended by 29 people.
It was resolved at that meeting the first general meeting would be held at the bowling club at 10am on August 7, 2009.
For the anniversary celebrations, a delicious meal of soup and roast meat and vegetables was provided by Marble Range Football Club members, along with the decorations.
The Port Lincoln Combined Probus Choir provided entertainment, accompanied by pianist Penel Jones.
Ten-year Probus pins were presented to Combined Probus Club members and Port Lincoln Men's Probus Club members who recently joined the combined club.
The birthday cake made by Joan Reidy was cut by Shirley Gardiner and served for dessert.
