Flight Training Adelaide on the move

FLIGHT Training Adelaide will begin relocating from the Port Lincoln Airport next month.

The Lower Eyre Peninsula District Council has confirmed the company's withdrawal from the Port Lincoln Airport will occur by the end of October.

The council's chief executive officer Rod Pearson said Flight Training Adelaide would start relocating their planes, training providers, operational staff and associated equipment back to Parafield Airport from October 25.

The move is expected to be completed by November 1.

"Council wishes to advise that it has no plans to revisit flight training from the airport, and will now be turning its attention to review of the Port Lincoln Airport Business Plan, aimed at consolidating the management, operations and long term financial viability of what is the busiest regional airport in South Australia," Mr Pearson said.
