Children enjoy reading with Hope

It was story time with a difference on Monday, September 30 when Cate Harrison from Sanctuary on Eyre took Hope the greyhound to the Port Lincoln Library.

Hope is a rescue greyhound who has been trained to work with people and loves to spend time listening to children read.

Mrs Harrison read a story Hairy Nose Itchy Butt by Elizabeth Frankel and highlighted the importance of caring for the earth, animals and each other.

She shared information about Hope's life and some fun facts about greyhounds.

It was a wonderful opportunity to interact together and Hope enjoyed everyone's company.
