The Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is preparing for this weekend's gala event, the Business Excellence Awards.
The annual awards event recognises local businesses across a range of categories such as business excellence, community excellence, new in business, and young business person.
More than 40 nominations for the awards were received across the eight categories.
Chamber vice chairwoman Sharni-Marie Barney said tickets for the awards sold out on Monday.
"We're up to capacity which is brilliant, it's really really exciting," she said.
Mrs Barney said she hoped those attending would enjoy the night, which was a formal event.
"We've got drinks and live music on arrival; we've got a special treat with jazz musicians and there'll be a professional photographer there taking photos."
She said the presentation of awards would get underway in between the three-course meal, guest speaker Monica Meldrum would talk after the main course and there would be music at the end of the night to continue celebrations.
"Andrea (Broadfoot) and I are the emcees...we'll be sticking pretty close to the schedule," she said.
"It'll be fun, it'll be awesome.
"We want to encourage people to get up from their tables, because they're sitting with people they know.
"It's a brilliant opportunity for networking and meeting people from other businesses.
"There are 180 people attending and they're all in local business."
Mrs Barney the committee had also seen a lot of new sponsors and continued support from major sponsors again this year.
Mrs Barney said she wanted to remind people the dress code was formal and to dress for the occasion, and for those following the event on social media the chamber had created two tags to follow, #portlincolnbea and #plcctbea2019.
The awards will be held this Saturday, November 9 at the Port Lincoln Hotel from 6pm.
