Santa's little helpers are ahead of schedule this year as the Cummins Christmas Wonderland committee prepares to open their display to the public on December 1.
Committee president Grace Coombs said there was lots in store for visitors this year including two all new displays.
The new displays incorporate sweet treats and a space adventure, and Mrs Coombs said they were working on incorporating some new technology into the mail delivery system to Father Christmas.
She said about a dozen volunteers had worked hard to put together the display this year, some working for many months creating new items.
Volunteer Barb Boyce said all the displays were put together in two and a half weeks and the committee was organised ahead of time.
Mrs Coombs said while they had celebrated a big 10 year milestone last year, they were still doing it and changing it each year.
"Come and visit us, come and enjoy...there will be a little surprise at the door," she said.
The wonderland opens this Sunday and is open daily for the month of December from 10am to 5pm, and on Christmas Day from 2pm to 5pm.
Father Christmas will visit from 10am to 12 noon from December 14 to 24, and wheelchair and pram access is available.
Entry is a gold coin donation and parking at the Railway Triangle park is recommended for safety.
After hours viewing can be arranged and group bookings are directed to Mrs Coombs on 0408 832 127.
