Lock book fair, intergenerational day | PHOTOS

Lock Area School students have been busy with the end of year Scholastic Dino-Mite Book Fair and an intergenerational day where the Get Up and Goers group and grandparents visited the year 4/5/6 class, both on November 28.

The Get up and Goers along with grandparents spent some time with the class and everyone participated in a descriptive drawing and instruction task, made Christmas Decorations to go on display at the Lock Christmas Markets on Friday, December 13.

They had morning tea in the library and learned how to download the Library App on their devices.

This was the fourth time this year the Get Up and Goers and the Year 4/5/6 class have visited each other and the benefits of intergenerational activities between the two groups are fantastic.

The book fair included activities, games and free snacks for the children.

Lots of parents, grandparents and children attended with many books being sold.
