Some creative sand creations were made on the beach at Port Lincoln Saturday morning as part of the Incitec Pivot Sand Sculpture Competition at Tunarama.
Competitors had two hours to create their sand sculpture using the sand on the beach, their own tools and whatever they can find on the beach.
Creations this year included all sorts of sea creatures, as well as sculptures of NBA legend Michael Jordan, Jedi Master Yoda and Studio Ghibli mascot Totoro.
The four children category was won by Zara Williams, Lauren Williams and Grace Thomas for their sculpture 'Message in a Bottle', which included a message of thanks to the CFS firefighters.
The team of Ema Stobart and Jessica Mesecke won the two children category for 'Save the Bight'.
The Taylor family, made up of PJ, Ben, Xander, Jacob, James and Zachary Taylor won the family category for the 'Shark and Boat' sculpture.
Finally, Daniel, Paige, Ethan, Bianca, Hayden and Levi Cooke won the open category for their sand castle.
