Port Lincoln woman arrested for drug trafficking

A Port Lincoln woman has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking following a traffic stop in Port Lincoln on Thursday evening.

Police allege that at about 7.30pm patrols stopped a car, driven by a 32-year-old Port Lincoln woman on Heath Street and a search of the vehicle revealed evidence of drug dealing.

Port Lincoln Criminal Investigation Branch detectives were notified, and two houses in Port Lincoln were searched and allegedly located methamphetamine, fantasy and more than $24,000 in cash.

The woman was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug and unlawful possession, was refused bail and would appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court the following day.
