Port Lincoln man caught drink driving

A Port Lincoln man has lost his licence for six months after being caught drink driving in Port Lincoln on Saturday afternoon.

Just before 2pm Port Lincoln police stopped a sedan driving along Hallett Place and breath tested the driver, who allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.080.

Police also expressed concern that there were three children, all under 16 years old in the vehicle at the time.

The driver, a 28-year-old Port Lincoln man was reported for drink driving and was issued with an immediate six month loss of licence.

His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
