A Ceduna man will face court at a later date after allegedly committing numerous traffic offences in Ceduna on Monday.

Police will allege that at about 1.30pm on July 27, patrols were called to Bergmann Drive after receiving reports of a motorcyclist and his passenger riding around the area and causing a traffic hazard.

Police located the motorcycle on Decres Bay Road soon afterwards and the driver, a 18-year-old Ceduna man was reported for driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, driving unlicensed, failing to wear a helmet and other traffic offences.

The man's motorcycle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
