Port Lincoln driver charged after burnout

Burnout catches police eyes

A driver will appear in court after being caught by police allegedly performing a burnout on a Port Lincoln street recently.

At about 8.30pm on July 26 police were travelling along Verran Terrace when a white sedan did a large burnout in front of them.

The vehicle was stopped on Seaton Avenue and the driver, a 34-year-old Port Lincoln man was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle.

His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
