Port Lincoln police investigate break-ins and thefts in Marina area

Port Lincoln police are investigating vehicle break-ins and thefts in the Marina area of Port Lincoln overnight on Monday.

A resident reported to police that between 5.45pm on September 21 and 7am on September 22 his vehicle and boat, parked in his driveway on North Point Drive, were broken into with items stolen including fishing equipment, an Engel car fridge and an ARB air compressor.

At about the same time a second victim reported suspects had entered his carport on North Point Drive and stole various tools from inside his trailer.

Also at about the same time a shed was broken into on Island Drive with suspects stealing a barbeque and various tools.

Police believe a white VT or VZ Commodore sedan was captured on CCTV in the area at the time of the thefts.
