A night of Christmas laughs on the West Coast

Comedian Fiona O'Loughlin will be headlining a night of laughs and stories with Christmas shows at Thevenard and Streaky Bay in December.

Visiting the West Coast alongside Ms O'Loughlin will be columnist and presenter Peter Goers, with promoter and comedian Anthony Lamond hosting the night.

The Thevenard show is taking place at the Thevenard Sporting Club on Friday, December 18, before heading to the Streaky Bay Hotel on Saturday, December 19.

Tickets for the Streaky Bay show have sold out, however tickets are still available at Ceduna.

Mr Lamond said tickets for both shows would cost $60 plus processing fees, with bookings to be tables of 10.

There are limited seats available on the night of 120 due to Covid regulations.

"With Streaky Bay a sellout, I am encouraging anyone who missed out in Streaky to go to Ceduna for the show," Mr Lamond said.

Ms O'Loughlin, who played in Ceduna two years ago, is one of the most in-demand comedians in the country who has forged an award-winning career in her 15 years on the stage.

In recent years she has overcome a well-documented battle with alcoholism, and this, like other aspects of her life, has become material for her show.

Mr Goers is present in Adelaide newspapers and on radio, and has been involved in show business in one form or another since the 1970s.

His is a show in which he shares stage stories about performers he has interacted with, and is a nostalgic show that takes the audience on a trip down memory lane.
