SA Police has thanked people across the Eyre and Western Local Service Area for following the rules during the three-day lockdown late last week.
People and businesses were urged to follow restrictions during the statewide lockdown between Thursday and Saturday with police issuing expiation notices to those who blatantly disregarded the rules.
A police spokesperson said the greater population of South Australia did the right thing throughout the lockdown, and in the Eyre and Western LSA police were overall happy with the level of compliance.
"There was a very high level of compliance among those businesses which could not trade.
"Where breaches were detected most people responded positively to requests/education which alleviated the need for expiation notices or other action to be taken."
