Lower Eyre Local Health Cluster to hold AGM

People are invited to get a better understanding of the challenges facing regional health and help to have their voices heard at the Lower Eyre Local Health Cluster annual general meeting on Wednesday.

The cluster will hold its 2020 AGM in the Port Lincoln Hotel Ballroom from 7pm, which will include two guest speakers.

The first is Eyre Far North Local Health Network chief executive officer Verity Patterson, who will speak about the health network's strategic plan and regional collaboration, and the second is Country SA PHN executive manager Bernie Cummins.

Cluster chairperson Jo Clark said it was great to be able to have two important guest speakers at the AGM.

"We're excited to have two important guest speakers at our AGM because ongoing as a committee collaboration and better ways of working together to support our Lower Eyre regional communities is always something we have a big focus on," she said.

Ms Clark said the annual AGM brought together a range of local, professional, governance and lived experience skills to provide a community perspective and ensureed investments and innovation was patient centred, cost effective, locally relevant and aligned to local care expectations.

"Local health clusters provide an amazing opportunity whether as a member or a committee member to ensure our voices are heard in program planning for our communities," she said.
