A workshop hosted by the Eyre Peninsula Women in Business group aims to start 2021 on the front foot.
The 'Create Your Vision Board' workshop will be hosted at the Port Lincoln Hotel from 2pm to 5pm this Sunday and is a chance for a creative, soul searching and inspiring afternoon, designed to begin the year with direction and focus.
Simone Bertram, an event organiser, said vision boards - also known as dream boards - can serve as your image of the future, representing goals with images that will strengthen and stimulate your emotions.
Kathryn Doudle will help participants create their vision board and Mrs Bertram will discuss what is required to get what you want out of the year.
"We want to get people to think and action a vision board to set the year up," Mrs Bertram said.
"Feedback from people has been that last year was so hard and people are a bit lost because of the circumstances that were taking over.
"This will start the year off with direction and a compass to put things in place, and all are welcome to attend, even though it is a Women in Business event."
She said the workshop was about digging deep to find exactly what a person wanted to get out of the next 12 months.
"Once they can identify it they can connect with what they want," Mrs Bertram said.
"People think they are not worthy of it, can't afford it, or that it's too hard, but I'll teach them it is about taking steps for a thing that excites you and scares you at the same time.
"I think they will get a lot out of it and we will keep in contact with them."
Seats will be limited to 30 people, and costs $30 per person. The price includes afternoon tea and creative materials.
Tickets can be purchased from SA Tickets.
