South Australia's iconic One and All tall ship will be making a return to Port Lincoln next week for three days of adventure on the sea.

The ship will be in Port Lincoln from Saturday, January 23 to Monday, January 25, with a variety of events on offer.

There will be a tea at sea cruise on the Saturday and Monday with morning and afternoon sessions available, a pirate open ship on the Sunday which will provide a tour of the ship, as well as the sunset sail magic on the Saturday and Sunday that will include food and drinks at sunset overlooking Boston Bay.

While the visit will not be coinciding with Tunarama this year after the festival was cancelled, One and All executive officer Annie Roberts said they still wanted to come to Port Lincoln.

"Port Lincoln is one of our favourite places and the community is so receptive," she said.

"We had passengers and crew booked so we still wanted to come, and festival or no festival we decided to make the journey anyway.

"Lots of regional towns are missing out on things like this in the current situation, so this is our way of saying hello to Port Lincoln and being part of the community - she is a ship for all South Australians."

Ms Roberts said it would be an opportunity for locals to enjoy the long weekend and would be fun for the entire family.

"With COVID in a challenging 2020 a lot of things have been cancelled or restricted and while we still have to play our part in being responsible with COVID-safe practices, we thought it was important that people could do something in their backyard," she said.

"There will be a variety of things to do for the entire family.

"It's also nice to bring people from Adelaide to see Port Lincoln, we are bringing people to regional locations to help facilitate the local economies."

Bookings for the weekend events are essential and tickets can be purchased at oneandallship.com.au.
