We are all looking forward to what's coming in the future, but in the meantime have a fond look back into the past with this week's Port Lincoln Times Flashback Friday.
This week we are going back more than 50 years to see who featured in the pages of the Port Lincoln Times throughout July, 1970.
Who can you recognise in this week's gallery?
In 1970 South Australia saw Don Dunstan defeat Steele Hall to become the state's Premier, a position he would hold until 1979.
Also the same year the largest ever crowd at a VFL/AFL Grand Final, 121,696 saw Carlton turn a 44-point half time deficit into a 10-point victory to win the premiership against Collingwood in one of the all time memorable Grand Finals.
Hit songs in 1970 included 'Let It Be' by The Beatles, '(They Long to Be) Close To You' by The Carpenters and 'Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head' by Johnny Farnham.
