A disqualified driver was reported for drink-driving at Yalata on Friday. Police stopped a vehicle on Eyre Highway at Yalata at about 12.30am, with the driver undertaking a breath test. He returned a reading of 0.088, while a child was also present in the vehicle. The driver, a 19-year-old Ceduna man, was reported for drink-driving with a child under 16 years of age in the car, driving disqualified and failing to wear a seatbelt. He had his licence immediately disqualified for a further six months and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days. The man will be summoned to appear in the Ceduna Magistrates Court at a later date.
