The Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation (EPCF) board is offering two tertiary scholarships to local students for 2021.
These scholarships will help assist with the cost of books and resources for Eyre Peninsula-educated students moving away from home to study at a university in South Australia after completion of year 12.
Foundation chairperson Garry Downey said they were happy to help local students.
"The foundation is proud to assist our Eyre Peninsula students aspire to higher education away from the Eyre Peninsula and in time return here to apply their learning and strengthen our regional communities," he said.
Applications for the EPCF scholarships opened on Tuesday and will close at 5pm on Friday, April 9, 2021.
