Police investigate Port Lincoln house break-in

House broken into from balcony

Police are investigating the break-in and theft of items from a Port Lincoln home early Monday morning.

At about 3.25am on April 5, a person scaled the outside wall of a home on Hill Top Drive to a second floor balcony where they entered through an unlocked door.

Police say once inside the suspect stole a handbag and a CCTV camera which was recording the suspect at the time.

Two occupants were at home asleep during the break-in.

A vehicle at the home was also entered but nothing appeared to have been stolen.

The suspect appeared to be wearing black shoes with thick white soles, light coloured pants and a hooded spray jacket.
