Port Lincoln man caught for drink driving

A local man has lost his licence for six months and will face court at a later date after he was caught drink driving in Port Lincoln on Saturday night.

At about 8.15pm on April 10, police stopped a silver sedan at a breath testing station on Liverpool Street in Port Lincoln, driven by a 45-year-old Port Lincoln man with a child also present in the vehicle.

The driver was submitted to a breath test and returned a positive result of 0.121.

He was was reported for drink driving while having a child under 16-years-old present in the vehicle.

The man received an immediate six month loss of licence and he will be summonsed to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court at a later date.
