The 63-30 win propelled Westies to first position and was a first loss of the campaign for the Magpies.

It ended 71-18, as the Bombers suffered a third straight loss.
A thrilling D grade clash between Western United 1 and Thevenard ended in a 33-33 draw, while Ceduna Blues United got the better of Wirrulla 26-16, and West Coast defeated Koonibba via a forfeit.
