Three girls arrested over Ceduna crime spree

Three girls have been arrested following a recent crime spree in Ceduna.

Police will allege that between Sunday, May 2 and Monday, May 3, three girls gained entry to a shed on Murat Terrace and stole golf clubs and billiard balls.

Between 2pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday, the trio then allegedly used these items to smash a window of a business on Poynton Street.

The girls allegedly broke into a house on Morrison Avenue between 12.30pm and 5pm on Monday by entering through a bathroom window, with a large amount of jewellery and iPhones stolen from the home.

As a result of investigations, police identified and arrested all three girls involved in the incidents, aged 14, 13 and 12.

The Ceduna girls were all charged with being unlawfully on premises, theft, property damage, aggravated serious criminal trespass and a further two counts of theft.

All three were bailed to appear in the Ceduna Youth Court on June 28.
