Port Lincoln's Just Love to Dance group enjoying a big weekend of dancing late last month.

Hosted at Nautilus Arts Centre, more than 100 dancers took to the dancefloor across the weekend.

On the program included a ball on the Friday night followed by a Saturday night dance and a Sunday dance during the day.

Dancers from Port Lincoln were joined by fellow swayers and boppers from Tumby Bay and Whyalla, plus further afield from Adelaide, Murray Bridge and Cairns, however dancers from Victoria were unable to attend the event due to the recent COVID lockdown in the state.

The weekend was an opportunity for dancers to come along and enjoy dancing with people of all ages.

Just Love to Dance's Ada Sherry said it was a great weekend and she thanked those who helped to put it together.

"We thank the Dockings Band who played exceptionally well and entertained our dancers during the entire weekend," she said

"We truly appreciate our committee who worked exceptional hard to cater for our dancers needs, our awesome finance support team, hall decorators and our volunteers who made the kitchen run smoothly."

She also thanked group president David Sherry for leading the weekend of dancing.
