Dual wins for Panthers in Port Lincoln hockey

The latest round of senior Port Lincoln hockey produced a number of close matches.

In the women's A grade, the Panthers got the better of Flinders 2-0 thanks to goals from Calvert and Schultz.

The best for Panthers were Russell, Wise and Wright, while Flinders were led by Weir, Ford and Traeger.

The other match saw Marauders get the better of Wanderers with a 4-0 result.

The victors were led by two Hammond goals, in addition to Dyer and Hill.

Hammond, Dyer and Dupille were the best on the field for Marauders, while doing well for Wanderers were Stockham, Hamilton and Chirgwin.

In the men's A grade, Panthers earned a slender win against Flinders.

Penna grabbed the only goal in a 1-0 result.

Wiseman, Stockham and Penna were the best on field for Panthers, as Vanderwal, O'Donnell and Braakhuis did their part for Flinders.

The other match ended in a draw at Marauders and Wanderers were locked at 2-2.

Grabbing the goals for Marauders were Hosking and Hammond, with Fuss and George finding the goal for Wanderers.

Saler, Ambrose and Pantiyasa played well for Marauders, with Wanderers led by Stockham, Van Giesen and Kobelt.
