Police caught an unlicensed drink-driver on the road at Yalata on Wednesday evening.
Police stopped a vehicle which was driving around the Yalata community at about 8.45pm for a mobile driver test.
The driver, a 47-year-old local woman, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.167 - more than three times over the legal limit.
She was reported for drink-driving, as well as for driving while unlicensed, and was issued with a further 12-month instant loss of licence notice.
She will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
It has been a busy few days for police on the West Coast, with a Yalata man caught drink-driving last week, in addition to a 64-year-old man being caught almost three times over the legal limit at Ceduna on Wednesday morning, and another man who was caught drink-driving near Ceduna on Wednesday evening.
