Several motorcycle thefts are being investigated by Port Lincoln police, after seven have been reported stolen since the start of last week.
On July 25 a quad bike was stolen from Day Street, Port Lincoln, and recovered the next day at Murray's Point.
Two motorcycles were reported stolen last week on Monday August 2, and Tuesday August 3.
A children's 90cc motorbike stolen from Flinders Avenue last Monday and a 2008 400cc motorcycle from New West Road last Tuesday. Both are yet to be found.
Between Sunday August 8 and Wednesday August 11, five more motorcycles were stolen in three separate incidents in both Port Lincoln and North Shields.
Two were stolen from the back of a ute in North Shields and were recovered Tuesday night nearby, while investigations are continuing for the remaining three yet to be found.
Local police said they believe most of the thefts are connected.
Local police are encouraging everyone to ensure their motorcycles are locked away, and recommend the use of theft alert tracking and lockable chains.
