PROBUS DAY

Probus Day is being celebrated in Port Lincoln on Friday, October 1 at Puckridge Park from 10.30am, in conjunction with Rotary. Boston Bay Jazz Band will play from 11am. For bookings contact Jill Anderson on 0427 268 069 or Ian Harvey on 0438 313 467. Combined Probus Club meeting at 10.30am, bring chairs and cups. Next Combined Probus outing is on October 15. Movies $10 and special luncheon at Boston Hotel $23. All attending pay at Puckridge Park.

WANILLA DANCE

Normal monthly dance will be held at the Wanilla Hall on Saturday, October 2 at 8pm. Docking's Band will supply music. Please bring a plate of supper and your own thermos. All are welcome.

COFFIN BAY MARKET

The Coffin Bay Market is on this Sunday, 10am to 2.30pm in the Hall by the Sea. There are loads of great stalls including homemade pies, pasties, cakes and sausage rolls as well as homemade jams, sauces, pastes, relish, nuts, olives, honey and garlic. There is also a variety of arts and crafts including quilts, face masks, cards, bees wax covers, jewellery, knitted items, candles and more. A second hand book stall will also feature.

106th YALLUNDA FLAT SHOW

The Yallunda Flat Show will return on Monday, October 4 with plenty in store. Attractions include sheep shearing, the Ute Muster, Hillbilly Rumble vintage car and motorbike display, live music from Kate Laube, native wildlife from Wild on Eyre,James Pedler creating a mural and many more. PORT LINCOLN FILM SOCIETY

The Port Lincoln Film Society is meeting next Tuesday for the 2007 French comedy/drama "Conversations with My Gardener" directed by Jean Becker. The next Charlton Women in Agriculture and Business' meeting will be an outing to Annette Harder's property at 26 Western Approach Road, Port Lincoln, with all to meet there at 1.30pm. Visitors are very welcome to join the group as they visit, and learn what about is happening in, Annette's 'veggie patch'.

HEADSPACE DAY

Come and join us at Pioneer Park for an afternoon of orienteering fun for headspace Day. Prizes to be won, fun to be had and an awesome Colour Blast at the end. Wear some older clothes and good running/walking shoes. Shelter, sun screen, water and nibbles available.

ZOMBIE WALK

Ceduna's Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council AOD Youth and Wellbeing program and the Ceduna Youth Hub presents 'Raising Youth Mental Health Awareness: Zombie Walk', a free event on October 7 from 5.30pm to 9.30pm at the Far West Aboriginal Sporting Complex. Get dressed in your best zombie attire and come along for a fun, undead shamble.

ANGLICAN OP SHOP

St Thomas Anglican Op Shop will be open on the following days: Friday, October 8 from 9am to 3pm with normal op shop items for sale and on Saturday, October 9 from 9am to 2pm with hot food including potatoes and a sausage sizzle from 11am to 2pm. Please note COVID-19 regulations apply.
