MORE FLASHBACKS:
John Howard was Australia's Prime Minister in 2005, and features in this week's gallery as he visited the Lower Eyre Peninsula to meet with people affected by the devastating bushfires earlier that year.
Another group of visitors were the Adelaide 36ers who came to Port Lincoln for a scratch match at the Leisure Centre before the start of the NBL season, and included a curtain raiser between Port Lincoln and Whyalla.
Basketball trivia, the NBL champions in 2004/05 were the Sydney Kings, which was the last time the team had won the championship.
NOTE: This gallery may contain images of deceased Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons and may cause distress to those communities.
