Verry Elleegant has won The Melbourne Cup 2021.
The race draw included 24 horses competing for the prize at Flemington Racecourse.

The race that stops the nation took part in front of a 10,000 strong crowd.
Incentivise was the hot favourite.
The five-year-old gelding only won his first race in April this year. He raced three-wide the whole way in the $5 million Caulfield Cup before comfortably beating his rivals to win by three-and-a-half lengths.
Crowds turned out at Kembla Grange Race Course to enjoy a day of racing in the largest event of it's kind in more than a year. You can see all the pictures and videos here.
