The end of the working week is upon us so why not enjoy this look of photos from issues of the Port Lincoln Times from the end of the 1990s.
In this week's Port Lincoln Times Flashback Friday gallery, we are going back 22 years to feature images from throughout November, 1999.
Can you recognise anyone featured in this week's gallery?
November was the month in 1999 when Australians voted in a referendum on whether Australia should become a republic, with the no vote getting the majority with 54.87 per cent.
See who in this gallery supported the yes vote, and who supported the no vote.
November was also the month where Australians bid farewell to Hey Hey It's Saturday, which held its final episode on November 27.
In football Tony Lockett became the highest goalscorer in VFL/AFL history when he kicked his 1300th goal playing for Sydney against Collingwood at the SCG on June 6, breaking the record held by Collingwood's Gordon Coventry since 1937.
With the AFL Draft having happened this week, also look in this week's gallery for some local players who prepared to begin their own AFL journeys.
NOTE: This gallery may contain images of deceased Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons and may cause distress to those communities.
