West Coast Youth and Community Support will use a $500 donation from the Commonwealth Bank Port Lincoln branch to help fund youth programs in the summer holidays.
West Coast Youth and Community Support (WCYCS) Chief Executive Officer Tony Perks said this summer's youth programs are currently being finalised and this money will help provide lunches to those attending.
"We get young people out sand boarding, we open the youth hub, have offered surfing and paddle boarding days," Mr Perks said.
Commonwealth Bank Port Lincoln Branch Manager Lisa Todd said the team voted to support the great work of WCYCS.
"In particular, these funds could support youth and homelessness programs as well as continuing to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention across the coast," she said.
"It's great to be able to support them in this great work."
WCYCS also provides crucial homeless services to people on the Lower Eyre Peninsula through specialist services and deliver youth-focused family and adolescent counselling.
The money donated is part of a community Commonwealth Bank program which has donated $400,000 nationwide to recognise those organisations that make a difference to the communities in which they operate.
