Friday is here again and that means it's time for this week's Flashback Friday gallery, where we look back at the people who made the news in years gone by.
This year we are going back 34 years to see who appeared in the pages of the Port Lincoln Times throughout December, 1987.
Can you see a family member, friend or community identity among this week's photos?
December, 1987 saw Kylie Minogue enter the charts for the first time with her single 'I Should Be So Lucky' while it was also the month Jon Bjelke-Peterson resigned as Queensland Premier after 19 years.
The then VFL saw the introduction of the West Coast Eagles in 1987, as well as the Brisbane Bears who merged with Fitzroy after the 1996 season to become the Brisbane Lions.
NOTE: This gallery may contain images of deceased Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander persons and may cause distress to those communities.
