Port Lincoln man arrested after shooting incident

A man was arrested following an investigation into a shooting incident at Port Lincoln last month.

At about 7pm on Friday, November 26, police responded to reports of a firearm being discharged at the corner of Matlida Street and Haigh Street.

It is believed the firearm was discharged from a passing vehicle at two people known to the alleged driver.

As a result of investigations, detectives from Port Lincoln CIB arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the incident on Thursday.

The Port Lincoln man was charged with aggravated acts to endanger life, discharging a firearm and breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear in the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court on Friday.
